Doris started in 1991 with 75 people, on a wet weekend outside Bristol .Over the years the event evolved into a five day summer school based in Devon with over 40 workshops a day, bringing together peoples from across the world ,touching thousands of peoples lives in both simple and profound ways.
The Tribe of Doris Intercultural School as we know it has now come to an end…As ever we pay homage to the drum, the songs, the dances and the ancestors who have allowed us to have this circle of learning and playing with all the lovely spirits and people that have graced our fields. We thank Margaret and Steve Lee, the farmers who have befriended our tribe.
The circle has no end and no beginning but is a magic space for creativity, may we always be within its embrace. The spirit of Doris works in mysterious ways, you may well feel her to tap you on the shoulder to change your life…
