NEW WORKSHOPS! NEW EVENING ENTERTAINMENT!

Due to popular demand we will be introducing more performances into our party evenings, with the likes of Denise Rowe, Nii Tagoe, Idrissa Camara’s Guinean Ballet Nimba and more.

We are excited to announce that along side many other fantastic teachers and musicians we have invited Jil Gnawa back to the Intercultural Summer School. If you came last year you will remember how inspiring they are. If you know nothing about this music, Doris is the place to find out!

The group JIL GNAWA is composed of Moroccan musicians who are authentic Gnawa dancers and singers. Imbued with this music since childhood, they offer a repertoire of ritual music composed of a mixture of secular African songs and sacred songs from the great Sufi tradition….

Polyphonic singing with Anita Deaulne who was part of the wonderful Zap Mama.

Have a taste of our Celebratory evening where the participants show each other what they have learnt in the week:

Flamenco dancers and singers. All this after only 7 hours of tuition from Felipe de Algeciras and Olayo Jimenez!
