Deasy Bamford

A trained teacher, youth worker and drummer who has been working in the field of arts and events for twenty years. Active in community affairs and arts programmes in Bristol.


Siobhan Kierans

Co founder & Artistic Director of Tribe of Doris, graduate in Anthropology and Media, community development worker, artist and events organiser.


Nick Reading

Artistic, creative, practical and inventive. Trained in conservation and rural skills and specialized in tree surgery for 10 years. Teamed up with Deasy and Siobhan in 1992 to establish Tribe of Doris events and has worked on the site management ever since.


Meriel Sparkes

Meriel has a real passion for African dance and a focus of using dance and dialogue to bring communities together. She has worked with various community groups and charities and is a mediator and support worker, and former solicitor and human rights activist. Meriel will be involved with funding, programming and general event organisation.


Hazel Frame

Hazel has been attending Doris from the age of three and has loved it since that first summer! She has been on the management committee as a youth representative for the last five years. Hazel is currently studying Arts Management at Bath Spa and is working in the Doris Office as an administrator.
